Expansion unit designed for the Keyence IV Series vision sensors. It enables the addition of advanced detection tools such as shape detection, color area, edge pixels, width/height, diameter, edge presence, pitch, position adjustment, high-speed position adjustment (1-axis/2-axis), and OCR. The unit supports up to 16 detection tools and one position adjustment tool. It offers 32 program settings, image history storage (100 images for color type head, 300 images for monochrome type head), and various analysis information options including statistics, histograms, and matching rate lists. Additional features include HDR, HighGain, color filters, digital zoom (2x, 4x), brightness correction, tilt correction, white balance, mask function, color histogram, test run, ToolAutoTune, input monitor, output test, security settings, simulator, mutual interference prevention, direct connection (2 units or more), sensor date/time information addition, scaling function, failing sensor list, and failure hold. The unit is equipped with 6 inputs and 8 outputs, Ethernet connectivity (100BASE-TX/10BASE-T), and supports FTP client, EtherNet/IP™, and PROFINET network functions. It operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to +50 °C and relative humidity of 35 to 85% RH. The main unit case is made of polycarbonate. Power is supplied from the main unit, with a current consumption of 0.8 A or less (1.5 A or less when also using an expansion unit)
